Life-Changing Personal Finance

Lifelong Lessons

The Prosperity Blueprint is more than a financial literacy program, it's a life success program. It is designed to give teens real-world lessons—complete with real-world examples to enforce the lesson and exercises to immerse the student into the scenarios.

The program focuses on the most important aspects of personal finance—the topics areas that many adults struggle with today. In the process of having teens face life's most common financial decisions and predicaments, they learn how to think critically while also providing the opportunity to learn crucial—and oftentimes very costly—lessons that they might otherwise learn the hard way.

No Teaching—or Class Time—Required.

The Prosperity Blueprint is a self-study program that requires zero teaching. It walks students through the program step-by-step, starting with the lesson, followed by examples and exercises to close out each section. For educators, this means that you aren't stuck having to learn a new program to teach. It also means that it doesn't take up any of your time in the already limited school day. Instead, it can be assigned as homework or as a take-home project during a school break. Additionally, some teachers choose to offer it to students for extra credit to complete on their own time.

Educating Teens For Life Success

Accessible

ProsperBull is available in both print and online, giving you the ability to choose the medium that is best for you and your students.

Self-study

Teachers can use The Prosperity Blueprint without having to learn the material, saving them time. This also means that it can be assigned as coursework outside the class so it doesn't take up limited class time.

Hands-on exercises

The Prosperity Blueprint is not another financial literacy textbook, but an interactive workbook. Unlike other textbooks and programs, it gets students involved on a personal level with hands-on exercises.

Lessons for the real world

We skip the financial jargon and definitions that don't matter to teens or even most adults. Instead, we focus solely on practical personal finance lessons so that students complete the program armed with the knowledge, critical thinking skills, and confidence to tackle many of life's challenges with ease.

Develop critical thinking skills

Throughout the program, students tackle challenges that adults commonly face, such as whether to buy or lease a new car, whether the more expensive house is more affordable than the lower-priced condo with a high HOA fee, or whether that higher-paying job is a smart move if its benefits and opportunities for growth are lacking. You get the point, and in the process, students get real-world critical thinking skills for smart decision-making.

Build confidence

Since students have worked through the most common—and oftentimes the biggest—financial decisions adults face, they have developed the critical thinking skills to find the best solutions for them with confidence.

Inspire work ethic

In our opinion, work ethic is a key element in financial literacy. After all, it doesn't matter how good you are at saving and budgeting if you fail to earn money. So, throughout the program students learn the value of working hard (and working smart) and the impact it has on our overall well-being, from affording us the ability to take that vacation, buy that car, or simply live without the stress of living paycheck to paycheck.
